De Bruyne?

New Kicker Artikel today :

Manchester United , PSG , Manchester City , ( Bayern )are interested. De bruyne prefers bayern over the other clubs but he accept Wolfsburgs decision to stay for 1 more season.

Also it is not clear if Bayern is even interested

To the Txiki thread.........

A german magazine says that the best player in Germany last season prefers to stay in Germany. No bias whatsoever.

Kicker itself ain't super reliable to begin with, depends a lot on what club they're reporting on, and I don't really know how good they are on Wolfsburg news, but it really just sounds like typical german media pandering, especially with the rags suddenly being thrown into the mix.

And this is why the rest of us get pissed off with the flappers. The reason is not that you have an alternative opinion. The reason is that you form a conviction based on your personal prejudices and then you make predictions based on those prejudices. Your post sounds as though you almost want Bony to fail so you can then say how much better Dzeko was, and by extention, how right you were.
We have absolutely no idea if Bony will score more goals than Dzeko. We don't know if the goals he scores will be as important as the goals that Dzeko scored for us. He may turn out to be a better team player than Dzeko though, and he may indirectly benefit the team more than Dzeko ever did. But he may not. No one knows until at least the end of next season when he has had a chance to prove himself. We're not Bony fans or Dzeko fans, We're City fans. We should have no problem calling shit on Bony, or anyone else for that matter, if they do indeed turn out to be shit. But what we should do is give the guy a chance to show us what he can do and then criticise him if he doesn't deliver.
What we shouldn't do is call him out before the season has begun because we see him as taking the place of a player who we have previously admired but who's time has now come and gone. Indeed we should be hoping that Bony does turn out to be a better player than Dzeko, because that is what is in the best interests of City going forward.

The best post in a long long time.

The Txiki and Managers thread could do with the exact same advice

All projects have delivery dates. I'd bet we have passed our original delivery date, and maybe even a revised one. I am musing though, with no real facts, granted.

I think we have already signed KDB and Pogba and they are keeping it quiet till the city live thingy.
City Live is now being shown Live on official web site on wednesday, maybe for the world to see the unveiling of Pogba and De Bruyne ;-)

No I'm not buying that story. Hadn't Txiki convinced him to sign about 6 weeks ago....

I agree mate....lots of different rumours going round...I think someone even mentioned in one of the threads that one of his agents had been looking at properties in Hale the weekend Wolfsburg were in London? This is what happens what deals drag on this long.....we just need to get this sorted now....

Or the rest of us will have to suffer further embarrassment reading the depths some of you will sink to ?

If we have been chasing De Bryune since December and no allow another club to steal a March and man him then serious questions have to asked about Tixxi

People see me, and they see the suit, and they go: "you're not fooling anyone", they know I'm rock and roll through and through. But you know that old thing, live fast, die young? Not my way. Live fast, sure, live too bloody fast sometimes, but die young? Die old. That's the way- not orthodox, I don't live by "the rules" you know. And if there's one other person who's influenced me in that way I think, someone who is a maverick, someone who does that to the system, then, it's Ian Botham. Because Beefy will happily say "that's what I think of your selection policy, yes I've hit the odd copper, yes I've enjoyed the old dooby, but will you piss off and leave me alone, I'm walking to John O'Groats for some spastics."
