Wolfsburg would consider De Bruyne sale amid reported £50m Man City bid
The 24-year-old is a key summer target for the Premier League outfit and are willing to break their transfer record for the second time this summer to sign the midfielder
Wolfsburg would consider selling Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne amid reports of a possible £50 million bid.
Goal understands De Bruyne's camp met with the German club on Wednesday to express the Belgian's desire to move to City, with the Premier League side confident of tying up a deal before the end of the month.
According to reports in Germany, City are planning to break their transfer window for the second time during the summer transfer window with a £50m (€72m) offer, trumping the £49m paid for Raheem Sterling earlier in July.
When questioned on City's rumoured offer, Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs told Sport1: "We are not playing games. 'What would happen if somebody comes with that amount of money' - that did not happen so far, so we do not have to think about it.
"If something like that does arrive, we will deal with it seriously. We should not talk about it out of responsibility towards the player."

in other words they always were gonna sell didnt want to tell the player because they wanted top dollar makes sense.

Pretty happy it looks likely, i think he can play alongside Yaya in a 4-3-3 system
Thats the big question for me. Wonder if we'd consider playing Silva deeper and have him and Yaya distribute to Sterling, Aguero, and De Bruyne in front of them.

Serious question as I haven't seen much of De Bruyne if I'm honest . What can he do that Nasri can't. Why does everyone on here seem to rate him so highly?

Considering they payed £19mill for him and he has had a breakout season so why would they only ask for an extra million

I would imagine some on here have seen him play, but most are probably like me, who have seen highlights of him. £50m seems high.Serious question as I haven't seen much of De Bruyne if I'm honest . What can he do that Nasri can't. Why does everyone on here seem to rate him so highly?
