De Bruyne?

Something doesn't fit in those wide forward positions if De Bruyne comes.

Silva, Sterling, De Bryune, Nasri, Navas, Lopes.

6 for two positions. At least one has to go assuming we're playing this 4-3-3 and not the old 4-2-3-1.

If we are playing 4-3-3 Silva and Nasri can play at the top of the middle three.

It'll be 4231. Silva in the middle, Sterling and De Bruyne on the wings, Nasri and Navas are rotation/back up players, and Lopes goes out on loan again as he'd go backwards staying here this season.

Lopes can't go back on loan until he signs a new contract. His current one expires in June '16 so we aren't sending him on loan to excel and then get snapped up for nothing but compensation.

He's good enough for this team. He's a better option than Navas, he's so as I see it he is 5th choice for those 3 spots behind the striker. 60 games a season, he could easily rack up 15 starts and more than that in sub appearances.

Getting him to sign a new contract should be one of our biggest priorities IMO.

Depends how close the deal is. If they don't want people to think he'll be leaving, which it seems like given their comments, then they'll play him like they usually do.
