De Bruyne?

I have decided simply not to believe any reported fees or wages. Firstly, the media have an agenda where our financial status is concerned and secondly, we are clearly developing our business in the long term so short term, premium investments are a positive part of the overall picture.

If we get him it will be good business, simply that. Age, talent, contract and what it says about our club as a world power are all fantastic promotional tools to attract investment and better players.

Course there has been an offer and behind closed doors no doubt some kind of an agreement on the fee. Wolfsburg just had a 30m bid rejected by Napoli for Dreiss Mertens. Wolfsburg will want to tie up a replacement before they tell the world they just got shit loads of dough for KDB.

Just on approach to ringway.

And he is even flying it himself

So he becomes the most expensive signing by English club? The press is gonna love it. Hopefully he can prove that he is worth it and not just 1 season wonder.

What we pay for him is irrelevant in my opinion, but to dampen your sceptacism, he wont be costing much more than Di-Maria and I am supremely confident he'll prove a much bigger success than him.

We have a new wage structure .......16m a season/year is about 330,000 a week....no way he will earn more than anyone else at the club

Daz....thats around £230k a week before tax......if these numbers end up being correct, it will be made up of salary/bonuses etc. Wouldnt worry too much about these figures mate....I'm not sure if the report from WAZ (the local Wolfsburg paper) is saying agreement found or thats what it will take to get it done...hopefully its close and we'll hear news very soon!;)

WAZ (local paper, reliable on Wolfsburg matters): DeBruyne has decided to leave Wolfsburg for #MCFC €80m fee, €16m wage (VfL offered €11m)
