It's not that his defending is bad, he was just in a role where he didn't get asked to do any defensive work so he can't do the things to make who scoreds algorithm think he's a good defender.

If he was asked to do more defensive work, he would, his work rate is like Milners.

Serious question as I haven't seen much of De Bruyne if I'm honest . What can he do that Nasri can't. Why does everyone on here seem to rate him so highly?

Hi ethan, I think De Bruyne has more pace and is a lot more direct mate. Nasri doesn't seem to have that 2nd gear to beat a man and often stops and passes backwards or side ways...I think De Bruyne puts more pressure on a defensive with his style of play....just my opinion tho!;)

That's good to hear. Hopefully with him and Sterling we will become much more direct and dynamic and more threatening on the counter.
