Did you read the first line ?It's been 4 years since we signed Kun. In that time we have signed Dinho, Navas, Jovetic, Fernando, Mangala, MdM, Negredo, Sagna, Delph, Bony and Sterling. From that lot only Raheem is a world class talent. Jovetic possibly could have been but injuries and Pellegrini's reluctance to give him game time make it difficult to say. Some of the others are very good ie Fernandinho and Bony and some are good pros MdM, Navas and Delph.
In the meantime Barca have purchased Neymar, Suarez, Rakitic and Madrid have signed Isco, di Maria, James, Bale need I go on. Bayern have bought some stellar players too. And nearer to home Chelsea have bought Hazard and Fabregas. Arsenal Sanchez and Qzil.
If this is still happening.....I would hope that all the work has already been done and a De Bruyne agreement would be ready to be officially announced now that Dzeko and Jovetic are gone.....in my opinion, we have no more reasons/excuses for delaying this deal....

I hope you're right, I highly doubt we're prepared to let the two go without a backup ready to sign.
I agree mate.....the only thing that is keeping me positive on this deal, is that we could be waiting for Dzeko and Jovetic to go before we announced a deal with De Bruyne...no other reason why it could take this long..fingers crossed we get some news soon!!;)
It could just as easily be that they want too much money for him.
Good post
And coincidentally, we have been trying to get under the ffp radar during those years whilst also replacing ageing members of the team. As soon as we get through it, we sign Sterling, & because we haven't yet signed 2 or 3 more, cunts are moaning about it.
How ridiculous is that ?
Talk about insecure and needy.
Hmm if we've only signed crap since Kun, then how come we've won the league twice and the Carling Cup. In theory., it's your logic that is crap
We were short of numbers in the squad, due to dwindling numbers of club trained players. Also it's being made out now that people like Javi Garcia & Fernando are mugs but they most certainly aren't. They just haven't settled into the Premier League. They were proper players at their previous clubs. Fernadinho imo is a superb player who was ruined by the World Cup but may be back this season. Jovetic another class act who stuggled in the Prem. Mangala one of yhe highest rated cb alternatives. We still spent plenty of money on average squad players and then ended up selling them for a loss. We should have bought less but better quality.
To be honest, and I know I'm going to get shot down by some on here for saying this, I do think Wolfsburg are taking the p*ss, asking for €60 million. It could just as easily be that they want too much money for him.
On the same token, we wouldn't be able to get Hazard for the price of paying for Sterling. That's who you should be drawing comparisons to. The player of the year, with the player of the year.To be honest, and I know I'm going to get shot down by some on here for saying this, I do think Wolfsburg are taking the p*ss, asking for €60 million.
Particularly when you consider that we got Sterling, a younger, proven premiership player, for appreciably less
Like it or not, he didn't cut it in the premiership, for whatever reason, and while I disagree
I'm assuming you don't realise the €60m is actually £42m so he would cost less than SterlingTo be honest, and I know I'm going to get shot down by some on here for saying this, I do think Wolfsburg are taking the p*ss, asking for €60 million.

Beautiful!Nope just nice to see a positive post
Plus this was the kid who won the best player in Germany this season. Voted by Kicker magazine I think but blew the other challengers away in the voting...I'm assuming you don't realise the €60m is actually £42m so he would cost less than Sterling
