Why do all the German teams seem so happy to drop trouser and let Bayern butt-fuck them?

I think it's because their nationalist side always wants to see Germany do well so they are willing to "take a pinch" to keep the top club competitive in the CL. They still like to follow the leader IMO.

CITY'S £47M DE BRUYNE BID

Manchester City have tabled a renewed £47million bid forWolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, according to Sky sources.

While a bid may be on the table, De Bruyne’s representative, Patrick de Koster, has revealed an agreement is yet to be reached between the two clubs.

"Kevin remains a Wolfsburg player, and is focussed on his job at the club,” he said

“I have read a lot of nonsense in the media. We are waiting to discover whether any agreement has been reached between clubs.

“That is for the clubs to decide, and not for us. There is no medical planned at this stage, and he is happy at Wolfsburg."

The Belgium international is under contract at Wolfsburg until 2019.
