What a thread. I've got the stage where if he signs for us and someone said "I don't think that's him" I'd probably look again.

Can anyone remember a transfer like this?

Surely enough is enough everyone is looking like a complete dick now including poor Kev and most of us....

not arsed about otamendi but de bruyne is crucial imo, especially for the CL

Navas has done okay the past two games but de bruyne would be a huge upgrade.

I'm extremely happy at how we've started,all it takes is an injury here and there and it could fuck up our season,I'd be much happier with a couple of quality signings.

I agree. With De Bruyne we'd have a front four that would be right up there with the very best in European football.

That's got to be one of the most entertaining hours read I've had.
Honourable mentions go out to Forza and Big Wilko for their inevitable rehashing of chicken licken and Ric for throwing a bomb in early which set the tone. Thoroughly enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

Agree.

I'll be really gutted if DeBruyne didn't come, because he is so different to what we have & would think differently & see different things. I think this is what we hoped Jovetic would bring but it didn't work. DeBruyne will give us another dimension.

Otamendi is a weird one, but if Pellegrini wants him then I hope we get him. He's the boss.

He lives in a caravan, so when it looks like its going to be sunny, he just gets in the car and moves to where its raining. Only kidding!

Navas has been much improved in the last two games, but is still clearly the weakest in that front four. De Bruyne would be a huge upgrade.
 
This club is unique, our fan base is unique, thank fuck I'm a city fan, nobody touches us.

This is division three, the qpr game, lomas wasting time v Liverpool , creaming ourselves about kinkladze's goal two decades later with a touch of the gillingham play off final thrown in.

The mental scars of a city fan for all to see laid bare.

Fucking love it, breathe it in this is Manchester City Football Club in all its glory.
