De Jong, it pains me

I'm probably one of his biggest critics, but he was immense!

Never slid in for tackles and maintained possession well, excellent passing and looked to bring the ball out of defence.

De Jong against Blackburn for me is a strange choice due to the fact he is not needed against a team that have no possesion of the ball. Easily played another attacking player yesterday. That said he played well enough but wasnt exactly needed

hes good against weker opposition as he is good at nullifying counter attacks, and also fills in for full backs who are basically used like wingers

Nige was excellent against Blackburn. Very involved, positive and barely put a foot wrong. Could now be a very important player in the final stretch.
