hahaha no, just remember him saying that nige would find it funny being linked with them lot as he hates them.

This would break my heart if it happened.and to be honest I can see it happening,at the end of the day nige owes city nothing,we sold him 2 year ago,his legacy with the city fans would be gone tho which would be a shame

I take the last posters point that De Jong was limited but he was very effective at what he did. First player we've had in years who opponents seemed scared to go into a 50/50 with.

Goal.com is reporting (via BBC) that he's keen to move to the rags, I for one would hate that. Partly because I saw him as a huge fan favourite and partly because the likes of Silva, Nasri would hate to play against him knowing what he's like!

We send Kolarov out solely to clatter him early in the derbies if so.

I would hate to see him join the scum. Though we have moved on in footballing terms, and, evidently, have the upgrades to show we have moved on from him, it would still be heartbreaking to see De Jong in a rag shirt, pandering to their ignorant, happy-clapping, foetid 'world-wide' fan-base, and rimming Beavis's ring piece.

I also read this morning that Rags have offered 30mil for Benatia....De Jong and Benatia would go along way to improving them at the back....Hope neither signs with them!
