He does his job very well, yeah agreed, but the job that he does is so minimal and unimportant, who cares?
Teams can't afford a player like him, Robinho could have said that his job was to dribble and do step overs when ever the ball came to him, that's all my job is.
Total bollocks, and to say RM picks him because he rates him is ridiculous, he has a small squad of midfielders that he has to nurse along to the end of the season, none of which were his choice apart from Vieria, who is still a better player than De Jong will ever be!

If you think De Jong has any long term future under Mancici as a first team regular you're mistaken and will miss your De Jong a lot next season. Mancini was looking at taller more mobile midfielders for that role because that's what he prefers....................thank god!!!!!
Barry plays in front of the back four much better than De Jong, with more movement. more intelligence and can actually pass to a team mate!
