De Jong

If de-jong plays in the remaining matches it will probably cost us 4th place.

We are much more cohesive and better without him in the team .

Thankfully, l reckon Mancini has sussed the imposter out and now realises this .

Oh dear this is big time tin hat stuff but has to be said........

We are a better team when NDJ doesnt play

Last 2 games have shown that for me, i have thought it for a while and in certain games he will be effective when we have midfield tussles but most of the time he stops us going forward and slows the game down, which doe snot suit are play
Any team would be better without De Jong!
However, unfortunately I think his abscence is more to do with him being on the verge of a ban.

He's going to have to add a new dimention to his game if he wants a regular start next year, i can't see him being prepared to play in just "certain games".
This !

if he would only try and pick out a quick forward pass every now and again.

Is that your argument!

Stop and read what i wrote for 1 second. I said he is effective in certain games by that i guessed people would know i ment games like Chelsea, Ushited and arsenal where we need to stiffle the midfield and turn it into a war, but in other games he slowes us down too much and only passes backwards

If your argument is 2 games this season then its flawed as a season is up to 60 games long

my take on this is that mancini hasn't got the type of player he wants to use alongside de jong yet. he wants a vieira (2001 vintage), essien, (dare i say it roy keane), or michael johnson (2007/8). this is why he went in for mariga, and i reckon will go in for a similar guy(s) in the summer.

barry or de jong will be used in the anchor position, as someone said before we'll be involved in 60 or so games next year so rotation will be key to progressing otherwise we'll see barry and others burnt out again.

hes a very important player when we play the top teams.he can break up there midfields.
