Well, some people overestimate weather in England, or they are just shit at math...
I know that comment I made is what many would see as mental, but De Rossi has all the money he will ever need now, what he does not have is many domestic trophies.
If you were a player who has earnt a good living in football but wanted to move on to try ane win some trophies, which league would you choose? It would be England over France everyday.
The Premier League is more prestigious than winning the French League as is playing in English football in general due to it's rich history.
De Rossi spoke about his love for the Premier League during the Euro's citing Gerrard as an influence on him.
