For me, De Rossi spoke more about the reasons for if he was to leave rather than actually come out and say he is staying at Roma for life.

He never ruled any move out as he said if financially the club wanted to sell him, he would consider. He even spoke about a story relating a player t Lazio having to move because financially Lazio could not refuse the amount being offered. Why say that??

If we offered an amount Roma just could not refuse whilst offer De Rossi decent wages, Roma will sell. Football is a business at the end of the day.

Got a feeling he will be here before the window closes. Why would we persist if there was no chance of a deal happening? I really hope he signs for us, he would dominate the current rags midfield on his own. Pure class.
