You do realise Bilbao not only want €40m but also the 45% tax rate of that fee due to the Spanish ecenomical crisis. Why do you think Bayern backed out!

I make that €58m. You wonder why Mancini says he is too much.

Bilbao are just going to have to drop the tax fee they are demanding, even then at €40m that is still expensive!

The only reason it's getting discussed again is coz the manager says anything could happen with regard to DDR, do you get it now.

AGREED. He's not given up on DDR. Mancini is either going to send another monstrous and final bid, one which club will now think is too stupid to refuse or Mancini thinks he can still persuade DDR to come. In any case Mancini has got us all guessing ... either the next 7days are going to brilliant or they will be a complete drag out.
 
This is beginning to sound like the novel Moby Dick. Bobby is Captain Ahab, and DDR is the white whale, Ahab's, obsession above all else. Ahab/Bobby pursued him relentlessly until the whale destroyed him, his ship and crew. I hope this has a happier ending for us ...
