No thanks!

On the downturn.

As for hating PSG, have no problem whatsoever them trying to buy who they want.

Would prefer Moutinho at £24m. We've plenty of tacklers, we need somebody who has a bit more physicality than Silva, but is equally comfortable with keeping the ball at the base of our midfield.

We need Benat !!!

Another one bound for PSG ... matter of when rather than if .

I hate PSG.

Why? Other than the whole Platini double standard I like any club that upsets the top clubs. I'd rather face PSG in the final than Real Madrid.

When Mansour bought Man City it was to give the people of Abu Dhabi a team to be proud of, (The Premiership is shown all over the world, where as Ligue 1 ain't.) there's no competion for PSG in the French League(I know they're joined top at the mo but they will cruise the league, Ligue 1 will be a one horse race for the next 10 years) there's always going to be competion in the Premiership as City, Chelsea and Ushited will always try to improve their squad however the likes of Lyon, Lille, OM can't afford to.

Lyon had a dominance for a good while and hopefully they return to it. Add Monaco to that lot. They are the next giant of French football. 10 years from now it'll be a better league than the Italian league! IMO of course but I am sure of it.

THis!!!

they are owned by a russian billionare(if i'm sure) who want to built a great team at Monaco and who want back in Ligue 1 after this season....So PSG dominance the league for the next 10 or more years won't be that easy if Monaco's owner do what he say...

Manchester City have walked away from the possibility of signing Daniele De Rossi, according to reports in the Italian Press.

Corriere della Sera have reported that the Premier League club have been put off by the mixed signals sent by Roma, having confirmed they would listen to offers for the 29-year-old, then retract those statements just a week later.

Roberto Mancini's side have tracked the Giallorossi vice-captain for some time, with rumours having circulated throughout the summer that the Italy international would join the English champions.

But it now looks like Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position to grab De Rossi, with boss Carlo Ancelotti reportedly a huge fan of the midfielder.

I wonder if Mancini will be targeted to join PSG in the future?
They seem to be getting a lot of the players Mancini was after.

That wouldn't be at all typical would it. Go balls out to sign him in summer, "Not for sale! Not for sale!", walk away from the table, PSG sign him in January.

Saying that, I think Roma were open to a De Rossi sale in the Summer but could not get the price they wished for, now with PSG intersted, the whole deal now favours Roma with two clubs potentially going into a bidding war.

I desperately want De Rossi at City as he is my favourite non-City player, but paying over the odds is not an option for City anymore.

-- Tue Nov 20, 2012 7:34 pm --

I hoped he'd come in summer just gone but I never got the sense they were serious about selling - do u know any different??

I hope not. He's older and would cost A LOT more than Benat both in transfer value and in wages. Benat and Isco are the way forward, this ship has (hopefully) sailed!

Let's talk about the market: usually on Tuttomercatoweb, titoliamo green EXCLUSIVE. This editorial giocarmela wanted to make more noise. Some people wondered where he was, yesterday, Daniele De Rossi? In Pescara, in the stands to see his Rome, because he was disqualified? No! In Rome, in the family? No! We tell ourselves, but not in green exclusively. He was in London, arrived Saturday afternoon, spent the night at the hotel of luxury road "Baglioni." He woke up and had breakfast, staring at the phone and with the fear of being recognized. It 'party with his girlfriend, and so far so normal, but in London there was Chelsea-Manchester City. Far hidden, without the permission of Rome, met Mancini and his staff, in January you have to do the operation. De Rossi, not to be "discovered", is not in any flights on the Rome-London. Usually when you do not leave your personal data, public figures, because it is through friendships purchase tickets and abut them in the society. Moral: De Rossi has left for London in total anonymity, has stayed at the Baglioni Hotel and met the technical staff of the City of Chelsea first-ManCity. I wonder what they will think Giallorossi fans this weekend romantic future captain, on the banks of
