Sorry to join this so late and not sure if the right place but don't watch a lot of Italian footballer- what sort of midfielder is he? Who would you compare him to? Cheers!

Yeah I've seen him play a few times but not enough to form an opinion......on that review I'm very excited! So is he a powerful runner/take players on as well? Whats his best attribute would you say- passing/tackling etc?

Jovetic is an awesome young player too but just can't see us signing him with the mass of attackers we have. He is very good out on the left but that's where we're signing Sinclair for (and Mario is usually on the left)... so if the Jovetic part is bollox the De Rossi part easily could be too.

He is a defensive playmaker, with an amazing short and long range passing.
He is also a real "tuff guy" ala De jong/ Roy Keane and a world class tackler.

and last, he scores goals

as box to box midfielder i rate him only second to Yaya
