Later on today we will find out, but more than likely the outcome will not be the one we want to here, in my view.
 
I have said it before and I will say it again, De Rossi will not be leaving Roma.

He is a Roma fan and he is on high wages and playing for the club off his dreams.

If City are looking for a defensive midfielder, I would go for somebody younger like Sandro who is dynamic,fast and strong but he would cost in the region of £30-£35million pounds but he would be well worth it.

Yes, it's definitely different in Italy. Managers are rather disposable.
 
I understand people saying "At his age if he had any ambition he would sign.."

The guy has won a world cup, the biggest honour in my book. I would LOVE for him to sign for us but I don't entirely buy the idea that if he doesn't sign it shows a lack of ambition.
 
My mate in Italy told me last week there was no way De Rossi would ever leave Italy. No way on earth.
He just emailed me now saying the word is that De Rossi has agreed and Roma are holding out for a bit more money or maybe just time . And the press are reporting Jovetic coming as well.

Just repeating that cos it's what i want to hear and he probably knows as much (or as little) as anyone on here.

Is Jovetic a striker if so we will have 8 now ....AGUERO, TEVEZ, DZEKO, BALO, JOVETIC, RSC, GUIDETTI, ADEBAYOR ....4 of them must be going before the end of the window if we get Jovetic
 
If De Rossi is not the "bomb" and "defcon" than who the fuck is? 11 days so time for bombs.

I remember Khaldoon saying in his end-season interview that there will be 1-2 very important addition but not a big shopping like last years.

Of course it was before the Hazard saga went very bad for us. Maybe he was thinking about that signing.

Doubt DDR will be City player. Coach saying he will stay, pre-season presser for Roma, can see bigger chance for a "I dont care about money only about Roma I will love you forever and after that too" stuff.
Roma fans are angry because they did big shit in transfer market (like City:D), and their only big star is DDR. They already lost a promising young player, Borini.

He comes out and say what a good year is waiting for the fans, we will get better and the coach is fantastic. Maybe a little bit of season ticket selling too who knows.
 
i'm going to assume that this is dead, and he's staying in rome. then, i won't break my f5 button, and if i'm wrong it will be a wonderful surprise.

we'll make another signing...but i feel like this would have happened already if it was going to happen. again, hope i'm wrong.

i would just really like a definite u know? like if he is supposedly holding a press conference on tuesday like everyone is reporting it better be a definite yes or no, dont jerk us off for however long and then say ur staying. we obviously need reinforcements in defense/midfield just hope that if hes it great, if not i hope we've had other stuff working(assuming we do we're not idiots) and just move on to the next and hope we can get 1 or 2 before the window ends

and get rid of adebayor rsc
