I would go as far as to suggest its vital if we are to push on,his authority,energy,drive and passing would have made a huge difference today.

Unfortunately i don't believe DJ can influence like above and Hargreaves just aint ever gonna be fit,Yaya and Barry need help.

As much as I live De Jong he is no De Rossi.
De Jong shouldnt have played today, he wasnt needed. Although he probably would have cut out that break away for the goal.

Yaya and Barry cant keep it going between them. Hopefully they will get the help needed in the shape of De Rossi sooner than later

How some people say we have enough cover in midfield is baffling. We have yaya, de jong, barry and very rarely milner who has hardly played in the middle in 1 and half seasons with us. And when yaya goes imagine a midfield of de jong and barry that is not a title winning midfield.

De Rossi would be worshiped by City fans, he has every characteristic required to become a club hero. Still doubtful he will leave Rome though.

Yes but I fell it would be better if we signed some younger players that would stay here for many years and really establish a teamwork mentality. As much as the Arab money has helped us, I don't want our line up to change too much in a short period. How can the real fans identify with the club it we have a different squad every 3/4 seasons.

Has the 20 thousand square mile academy thing we're building opposite the ground still not done enough to allay fears about a policy of bringing through younger players ?

DeRossi would bring us the title this season imo. If he can be signed for a relatively small fee we would be fucking stupid not to do the deal.
