i would buy de rossi and aquilani from liverpool. Aquilani is the best passer in the prem and when you got great wingers like us he could unlock any defence and with de jong partering him will be no problem defence wise.
Is that you Kenny?
this may sound stupid but put him in an average team like liverpool and id say no. But put him in a squad of top players like silva and johnson and augero and de jong covering him and im telling you the guy can pass a ball one touch football is way better than milner in the centre. Even off the bench he can make an impact. And for 10-15 is a bargain.

Would love De Rossi at City, one of my favourite players in the world and a true leader of men. But can't ever see him leaving Rome, sadly.

Actually think he would be the perfect fit for UTD. He would be thier new Scholes if not better. So MR De Rossi, stay in Roma, and drink your wine, eat your pasta, fuck your women, stay away from red manchester.

De Rossi has incredible vision and is one of the best long-range passers in the world and would kill to win.

unfortunately like oakstate says you really could see him playing for United, which I hope we don't!

However, would be 28 in a few days so signing him for a gillion pounds per week probably wouldn't be the best idea.

I rate Aquilani higher than Barry. I'd swap them in a heartbeat.

I've absolutely no idea who Aquilani is - but i'd do that deal anyway! LOL............

Aquilani would line up well next to Roque and MJ.

in the hospital. He's a crock, Juve won't even pay Liverpool's 15m asking price for him.

Nest egg City: assault on De Rossi, Roma trembles
19/07/2011 17:15 by Andrew Losapio

An agreement which expires in 2012, the condition of Captain Future, the assault of one of the richest companies - if not the richest - terricolous entire globe. Once upon a time the story of Daniel De Rossi, although the imperfect tense is not appropriate for a situation in full swing.
The background is easily explained: Daniele De Rossi to be persuaded to renew its contract with Capitoline society, well before any deadline of June 2012. Whether because of the risk of losing it on a free transfer, just as Mexes, Roma and because the project is piped into a binary net. One of two things: either lose their jewel immediately, earning lots of money from Manchester City - the club mentioned above - and make a clean break with the management senses, or draw a line of continuity with the previous ownership, relying De Rossi as the next symbol of a city that has Totti who represents the spirit in every way.
We come to the suitors: the Citizens would be ready - and the conditional is obligatory - to offer the midfielder a contract for nine red and yellow million euros per season. Enormity that it would be difficult to manage even if his contract was not due to expire next June, an offer which tickles even more if it happens a year from the end of the agreement in place with Roma. In the second row, the more detached, there's the usual Real Madrid Florentino Perez, who - has never been a novelty - would have false papers to De Rossi and be able to assist one of Xabi Alonso and Sami Khedira.
The new course Luis Enrique started with the best wishes for De Rossi, and leave Rome would not be easy. There are nine million reasons, however, to court.

Has the aura of agent using City's name to make newly rich Roma hike star player's wages, but you never know.

Mmmmm.

^Basically a complete midfielder. Defends well and makes good plays. Terrific vision.

never been wow'd by him...what type of player is he? a gerrard type?
(Covers mouth, looks around furtively and coughs 'Roy Keane with better ability and passing'.

As much as I hate Keane, there is no way De Rossi is better than he was during his prime.
He is technically better. Whether that makes him a better player overall is a matter of debate.
