He is technically better. Whether that makes him a better player overall is a matter of debate.

he's a better footballer by a country mile

And he is not a ****.

de Rossi is definitely a **** and a dirty player, but it's easy to look past when he's not playing on a team you hate :)

Seems a very determined and influential player, but would his temperament hold up in the premier league. Could see him getting plenty of yellow, even red cards throughout the season.
Great player though with fantastic vision for an early pass.

Isn't De Rossi the player who absolutely halved Balotelli in the Italian Cup Final and then gave him racist abuse?

That was Totti.

Yeah definitely totti, totti is the very last person I would ever want playing for city, he is a twat of the highest order.

I would kill keane if I got the chance.

You'd have to hope there was a pulse left after I'd finished with him............just a nasty, dock rat of a human being, with no redeming feature whatsoever.

De Rossi got a straight red card vs USA in 2006 World Cup both teams end playing 10v10. The game was a draw actually the only match Italy didnt win that cup.

The pitch was awful last night.
exactly

I an far from Milner's biggest fan but I agree with everyone else, you can't judge his passing from last nights marsh we tried playing on.

No, but you can judge it on all of last Season. He, like Barry, isn't a top four footballer. Put another way - which other top SIX sides would he get a place in? None...................great trier, but, like Barry; poor 1st touch, no pace and no vision.
We've moved on.
However, if we need to keep one of them, then its Milner because he's younger and slightly better quality, although its all relative!

Ahh yeah, remember it now. But somehow, I can still see him having rifts with Balotelli, where he to join.

Mirror suggesting our interest is serious and that Chelsea also interested.

They reckon he can be had for 15m or so because his contract has a year left.

I'd buy De Rossi for 15mil even if we already had 50 CMs on the books.

edit: though Mirror story says 20mil?

In one story, but in their main story about him they say 15m or less.

can't say I consistently watch Serie A (though I do tend to follow the Italian international team) but hasn't De Rossi had inconsistent form the past few seasons? Is he past it?

I'd be interested in Mancio (or anyone else's) point of view.
