Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

It seems almost certain now that he will leave, but I'd be surprised if Bayern made a move in January. Surely it would make more sense for them to leave it until summer to see how he recovers for the injury, and also because he'll only have a year left on his contract then?

The only reasons I could think of them going for him in January are Kingsley Coman's injury, and worrying that Sané attracts attention from other clubs in the second half of the season and in the Euro's, which given he'll be available relatively cheaply, could happen.

I guess it will come down to how certain they are that he only wants Bayern, and if he'll be the same player after injury.

Highly unlikely he moves in January so I think this Bild article is nonsense. He may move in the Summer but a lot can happen between now and then.

I'm not convinced Bayern will come back in for him. Seems a very strange move given they already have a very good left-winger.

Yep fair point that you know Bayern they always want the best German players but cheap and maybe why you could right them waiting till the summer. If the Sancho rumours are true can’t see that happening till the summer also.

I think a move in January suits all parties tbh. We sell Sane now and immediately buy Sancho who is also looking to move. It’s less risky for us.

Sane may recover well and reach top form or he may struggle and suffer reoccurring injuries. Both will obviously effect his price tag.

I would take £80m-£90m right now which should cover the Sancho fee and will free up a foreign slot leaving room to possibly sign a CB as well.

that would be the perfect outcome.

Isn't Sancho being a mard arse again at Dortmund.

Sane wants out he can go but can't deny wecould have done with his attacking options throughout the season.

Whats Carrasco up to???
