No, he wanted Raz money and has now quadrupled his money.

I'd have offered him a lot closer to Raz money than almost half that is for sure.
 
Personally I think we got as good as we could get in the current climate. He's German so most likely grew up wanting to play for Bayern and has now got his dream move with a very healthy salary to boot. Is it really a great loss though in terms of a game changing footballer. IMO we have 3 players who really make a difference in KDB, D Silva and Sergio. All the others are excellent footballers or they wouldn't be in Pep's team but the rest are and will be replaceable. (Tin hat on from some of you! Ha Ha)

Depends when we offered Sane the contract. Sterling signed his in Nov 2018, no idea how long the discussions lasted with either.
