Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

During Sterling’s negotiations no other club was influencing as much. This situation is different with Bayern behaving as they are. I hope City are offering the correct pay for Leroy, none of us know. If they are and he doesn’t sign sell him.

The same attitude would have seen Sterling gone.

And some people were saying the same thing then, on both sides of the discussion.

The correct decision, was to carry on talking. If Sterling had said he wanted to go, he'd have gone.

Same with Sané now. One word to Pep & he's out.

Whilst he isn’t starting and playing regularly his value decreases that is a fact. It will be interesting to see if this changes at the start of the season

Starting & playing regularly are 2 different things. He might not do the first but stats show he does the second. As such, he’s worth far more than £75m. I’m sure David Dickinson would reassess accordingly :) :)

If he wants to leave, we don't sell to Bayern, we put it out to Real Madrid, PSG etc.

They will pay 50 mil more.

I am quite chilled about this one, while he has potential he only shows it in glimpses. Worse case he goes and we need to get a replacement.

The saddest thing about this is that he has put himself and the club in this situation by not kicking on as he should, he really should be one of the first names on the team sheet but he has failed to nail it down.

How about we sell him for £90 million and then use the money to go balls deep for Mbappe?

We don't need Mbappe as good as he is and a replacement in general isn't necessary

I assume those who didn't believe there was any Bayern interest at all are slowly, possibly, believing that there may be a smidge of it?

It's hard to tell if he genuinely wants to go there or is using them as leverage to get more money out of City.

Also think it's an absolute piss take that Bayern have done all their talking so publicly when they'd be the the first to cry foul if anyone did that to them. They really are one of the most hypocritical and self righteous clubs out there.
