Especially how stones finished the season practically next to rodriCan only imagine this deal getting done if Phillips is part of the deal.
Can’t see Rodri, Kovacic, Rice and Phillips in the same squad.

When I read these three names,I don't think we could have had the year we had with them being in the team. Luck plays a big part in transfers.(In hindsight)Well we know ourselves with Jorginho, Sanchez, maguire (thank god) players can change their minds. Just feel rice has been totally convinced to join arsenal. They are ambitious, building a brilliant squad and keeps him close to home. Just seems to make too much sense
Rice won’t go anywhere as a backup. Not good enough for us.We have one,the best in fact,in Rodri.
What we still need....is a competent replacement/alternative/partner,and Rice more than fits that bill.
Crikey - I don’t agree with any of that (Other than the other two would cost less).City could get two fairly good more fitting mids for the price of one Rice. Veiga and Guler would both together cost less if he does decide to go to Arsenal. You can even add a Williams in there and you have three top talents for the price.
I have faith in Phillips to turn it around.
He needn't be (see my team on page 295) and his attitude and character would ensure he wouldnt be.Rice won’t go anywhere as a backup. Not good enough for us.
Rice could obvious start for City. Not only is he good enough but Kdb is probably out for the start of the season anyways which leaves a gap for players to slot into.He needn't be (see my team on page 295) and his attitude and character would ensure he wouldnt be.
