Declan Rice

Very contradictory again.

West Ham would not tell City that Rice only wants Arsenal after discussing terms.

That's laughable. Sullivan wants the best price and that means keeping more than Arsenal at the table.

I wish some of these cunts would stop trying to play football journalist.
Had to laugh at the Talksport exclusive. If West Ham wanted to pressure Arsenal into an improved bid, why the fuck would they be telling the world and his wife that there's no competition for his signature?

Except for the fact we stood by him despite finishing 8th consecutively. Now the rebuild is in its infancy, and we bin him after three months should our start of the season not go as expected?

Completely misguided analysis of Arteta and Arsenal
Really have you heard your fans? Fickle self entitled ignorant fucktards. If you are on 15 pts after 12 games the library will be doing the arteta out shite for sure.

Absolutely zero chance he leaves Italy I'm afraid.
Why not, mate? If the best team in the world comes knocking, he would probably jump at the chance, I reckon. I mean, look at Tonali, he left the other Milan team. It's worth a shot imo.

I disagree. There are different kinds of ambition and signing for City is really just the easier option on the scale of ambition. Ambition isn’t just taking the easy option of just signing for a team that already wins titles.

If Rice wants to and does sign for Arsenal, his ambition is there in the form of him thinking that he’s the player who can make Arsenal a title winning team. There’ll be a drive there for him to make the difference.

Same with City’s signing of the likes of Gareth Barry; he could have taken the easy option signed for United or Chelsea, he was good enough to play for anyone, but all those early takeover signings chose City to be the players that pushed us on to win titles we’d been missing for so long.

I can’t stand Arsenal, but I won’t begrudge or belittle Rice’s choice if he wants to sign for them.

You’re right in a way. There’s many other reasons why a player might chose one club over another. The location, salary, status, nostalgia, playing time etc. As well as thinking that a team maybe on the cusp of greatness where another might be fading. However, every player in football should be able to see that Pep Guardiola is very special. Robin Van Persie joined Utd purely to work with Ferguson and we had won the league the year before. Pep will do two more years at City and I pray even more. After that he may never manage another club team again. I think any player who is serious about improving their game, should want to play with Pep whilst they can. I don’t think I’m arrogant in thinking that. Past players joined our exciting project. The project is pretty much realised now and Pep should be the pull for any serious footballer.

Exactly. Eventually, these type of fraud cunts talk so much, they expose and hang themselves.

I see it ten times a day.

You don't try to kickstart an auction by exclusively revealing Sullivan has told City that Rice only wants Arsenal.

City always go to the player and his agent first to establish such.

It's been briefed we are interested/trying to sign 2 £100m CM's at the very beginning of summer, can't think we won't move on to someone else.

Get Barella done and dusted.

Wonder if they are a bit concerned about HG quotas if Phillips and Walker go.
