Pol is seriously a top source for any pep stuff but i really cant see how rodri and rice get enough game time to keep them both happy?

Then Rodri gets injured for months and we’re left with a kid as DM to jeopardize the entire season hehe
You are missing my point by quite a distance.I'd be more than ecstatic to recruit Rice to our ranks, but i very much doubt either him or Rodri would be content with the rotation/lack of game time.

What is the evidence that Rodri is unhappy with rotation?
Most players in a Pep team know they will be part of a rotation, and they know it will probably mean titles at the end of the road. But most importantly, I don’t think things are that obvious with Pep, meaning, I don’t think whoever we bring in as the Fernandinho replacement will play 30% of games as opposed to Rodri playing the other 70%. Creativity can take us to unexpected places...

You keep praying to the converted.

I didnt state fact, you are ignoring that part of my comments,i only stated my thinking. Both these players are top class Internationals who are currently playing 90% of games.......it isnt unreasonable to think they would be unhappy to expect less.

Again, thats the only point i'm making.

Rodri has started 40+ games this season, that doesnt really leave a lot of room for another player wanting to start 40+ games a season. Fern probably hasnt started 20 games this season and lets be fair, Rodri has been fantastic so why mess with that. I like Rice i really do, but just dont see the point in spending 70/80 million on a position we dont really need and if anything creates a headache for the manager.

I don’t disagree with your point that a top player would want guarantee of playing most of the time. But look at Torres, he’s a top international player as well, and seems happy collecting trophies and waiting for his turn. The opportunity that is City — growing as a player and winning trophies — may trump the uncertainty about game time

I could wait a season for that and have proper look for any longer term candidates. Bellingham being one example of a player we should keep closer tabs on and seeing how he does in his second season at Dortmund. Another type of has been mentioned is Gio Reyna although we are stacked in his best position at the minute perhaps Pep could convert him to a deeper role . There is another possibility of an EDS playing that could come into contention next season and shouldn't block their path either.

Same source the other week said we wanted Kane ahead of Haaland. It’s a weird one.
No, you’re mistaking Pol and Lu. Lu was the one for that - people were like, He’s reliable! He’s close to Pep and people at the club! I said - No, he wrote the book with Pol, but isn’t taken very seriously in Spain and the show in which he gave that “info” (if you actually watch it, you will see that he is guessing/giving an opinion) isn’t too serious either, just Barcelona propaganda. Pol, the source here, is respected and reliable

I think we need someone much much better on the ball than Rice and more mobile.

Rodris got the big unit defensive midfielder role tied down, rather for for Aouar/Bennacer someone of that mould

We're already at full non club trained HG players limit anyway so makes no odds him being English

I still think Rice will end up at Chelsea and he will be their new centre back. If John Stones hadn't fully recovered then it would of been more of a logical choice.
