Win win in a sense. If we get Rice great. If we push Arsenal to pay 100m (Likely most of their budget) on Rice then they can't strengthen much and are right back in trouble with a couple of injuries next year.

As few said earlier, City like Rice, but nothing formal yet. I think WHU have had a blinder and panicked Arsenal to pay £100m+ by throwing City’s name out that they ‘may’ make a bid.
Sounds like smart business.

Rice can play alongside Rodri and Stones goes to RCB. Rice can play In front of Rodri if Gundo is going or Rodri plays in front of Rice if Gundo is going with Stones in the pivot position. Which the west ham outlets saying has been rejected as well mate? It seems Arsenal want to structure it in some weird way over 6 years with the smallest amounts in the first two years and then building up?
