I hope Denayer doesn't stay overseas too long. He has been registered with City for two years. He was registered with Celtic last year and if this loan is confirmed which looks likely, that will be one year short still, before he can qualify as 'club trained' and 'association trained.'

He's registered with us even while on loan

No he won't, it still counts for qualification purposes.

His agent sounds totally fair enough in this. I can't argue with any of those quotes. He's basically saying he's disappointed as they were told no one could come in, but its understandable that they've signed Otamendi as hes very good. But they want a solution for Denayer - its nice he admitted that City were very understanding about it. Marseille are a step above Celtic, so as long as he's happy at Marseille and the door isnt closed at City i guess personally ill accept it, despite really wanting him to be with City this year.

Be funny when he keeps Rekik out of the team won't it? :)

We could potentially see a Rekik and Denayer partnership which would be interesting to see because that was our central defensive partnership in the EDS a few seasons ago.
