Southgate has before this tournament created a very good spirit in the squad but it looks from the outside that has changed in this Euros.I’d say we’ve gone overboard in the past but these players definitely have the talent. They’re doing it at club level against much better opposition than Denmark and Serbia.
All for taking the game to opposition. I’m hoping even Boregate clocks that now after struggling so badly against 2 average sides. That’s why Foden needs to play as a 10 with Bellingham deep.Foden or Palmer left won’t work as they both lack real pace to go wide and when they come inside they’re not on their strong foot for shooting (look at all Phil’s great goals last season). Bonkers idea. Pep needs months of working with players to get them to understand his system. Plus England don't have the players to play his system. Plus City come before any country. I can't believe a City fan would want Pep to leave us for England.

There is no energy in the team no pressing in unison and if your not pressing you might as well have everyone in your own 3rd and play hoof ball
Because the whole structure of the team is wrong. The only way this team will improve and progress is if he putting another technical player in midfield. Foden, Palmer or even the young lad Wharton. If he puts Gallagher in there nothing will really change. May work against Slovenia but after that no chance.
