Too right, Labour and the Tories are still navel-gazing at their own internal problems while the country drifts towards the cliff edge. The fucking state of politics in our country. It’s an absolute fucking shambles.

It was very powerful. Shame about Sheffield, as it slightly tarnished his legacy. I quite liked Kinnock.
That was the peak of Kinnock as a stateman!
I thought he’d get at least a working majority at the ‘92 general election, even after that speech. Was pretty shocked that Major won that election (even although it arguably turned out to be a poisoned chalice). That was the first election I was entitled to vote in, even though I was 22. Just missed out in ‘87.I liked him as well, he really turned Lab around. I was convinced he would win the GE but you could tell he wasn't comfortable doing that American style rally a day or Two before the vote.

I voted Labour in ‘92 (would have voted Libdem if I was eligible in ‘87). On both occasions my voting intention was principally defined by the party most likely to beat the Tories within the constituency I was residing.
Remember pulling up outside a mate’s house in Fallowfield as the exit pole result (hung Parliament!) was read out on Radio 4. It got worse as the night wore on.First time I'd voted as well that mate, was gutted watching the results come in that night.
They read out, on radio 4, how a man from Gdańsk had voted in the election? That is attention to detail :-)Remember pulling up outside a mate’s house in Fallowfield as the exit pole result (hung Parliament!) was read out on Radio 4. It got worse as the night wore on.
Good spot! Can’t be arsed editing. They read out, on radio 4, how a man from Gdańsk had voted in the election? That is attention to detail :-)
It’s a truly pitiful sight.Whenever bad news breaks about any given party there seems to be a rush of whataboutery from the side being accused, this lot in Parliament right now are like children telling on each other.
