    Yeah those presenters found that tough to get through, especially the lady, she was struggling. Really sad to watch

    Less that a 5th of 1% would be added to the population per year if cancer had an across the board cure. It would make little difference to population numbers.

    Gutted to hear this news. She is part of our local culture. I walked past her on King Street a few years back. What a stunner. My sincere condolences to her family

    Lovely tribute on TV tonight,if it wasnt apparent before then that programme really made it clear just how well thought of and loved she was.

    Truly tragic in every respect.

    Yes it was. A genuinely tough watch. When the male presenter started to finish the female ones link because she was struggling but then she was determined to finish it. Very emotional.

    As mentioned, a nice tribute on NW Tonight. Her colleagues did well to hold it together.
