Did I miss Pelles welcome to City ??

The singing before the cup final was embarrassing and pathetic but pellegrini
Is certainly mature and intelligent enough to know how fickle and blinkered many football fans are.

Several 'high profile' internet Blues backed the slanderous anti-Pellegrini stance/song that was disgraceful. But best to let bygones be bygones and maybe for those people, the "Pellegrini has won nowt so must be a shit manager" types included, they should trust in our highly qualified Spanish chiefs in future, the chiefs who seem to have nailed this summer's transfer window and who have brought in a manager who will play the best football (on a consistent basis) City fans have ever seen... with hopefully the success to follow of course (I'd be staggered if our trophy rate dropped).

This video went viral among United fans.

They made a rod for their own back with the Cup Final chanting. Heard too much of it in The Green Man beforehand. Thankfully the abysmal performance that lacked spirit and belief shut them all up and they staggered back home gutted.

Part of me was worried I'd hear it on Monday night but perhaps they didn't renew their Seasoncards in protest? I can but hope...

Bit pissed off he didn't walk onto the pitch chewing gum with his gob open and greet the crowd like the Second Coming like John Bond tbh.

I was hoping for a picture of him with my season ticket with the slogan, "Help me make City great again," like we got with Billy McNeil.

Instead all I got was some weird metal stick thing.

Anyone know how you apply to become a "high profile internet blue?"

I noticed after in JJ moons on the high road the penny appeared to have finally dropped with a number of the forza brigade. No one sang his name then.

I'd love to know which 'high profile' blue this was: I can think of one who embarrassed his fan group with comments about 'puppet manager'.

I sang it pissed up before the game at wembley. I've renewed my season ticket though so no protest. Not sure how in the grand scheme of supporting City I and many others made a rod for our own backs but you carry on thinking that if it helps you.

We are fickle by nature, some people wear there hearts on their sleeves a little more than others and on occasion it may turn out we were wrong but fuck me, I'd rather be like that than how you come across.

In what way did you think singing that at wembley helped the team? Or didn't you care?

Worded it wrong - sang it in the pub before hand not actually in the stadium. Truth is at that point I believed that Mancini was being hard done by. My joining in was more in support of him than any real problem with Pelligrini. It won't be the first or last time I join in a song in the pub that afterwards I regret but that's how I felt at the time. C'est la vie and all that.

I'm not fickle by nature and I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. People who do that are opening themselves up to abuse and control by others. I researched Mancini like I research all arrivals at City and it was evident he was a lucky Manager with a domestic record that flattered him and a poor record in European competition. I welcomed his departure.

Why drink yourself so stupid that you don't understand what you're singing? There's no need to admit it either because neither myself nor Didsbury Dave nor almost every other poster on Bluemoon would've known unless you'd have told us. Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve.

Keep your cards to your chest a little more. It'll pay off in the long term.
