Did I miss Pelles welcome to City ??

It's a bit sad to be getting on the backs of City fans for singing that at Wembley when it was clearly more about supporting Mancini, the current manager at the time, than it was having a go at Pellegrini. I'm sure Pellegrini understands that.

In fact I'd hazard a guess that 90% of the blues singing that had never even heard of Pellegrini at that point.

They made a rod for their own back with the Cup Final chanting. Heard too much of it in The Green Man beforehand. Thankfully the abysmal performance that lacked spirit and belief shut them all up and they staggered back home gutted.

Part of me was worried I'd hear it on Monday night but perhaps they didn't renew their Seasoncards in protest? I can but hope...

I sang it pissed up before the game at wembley. I've renewed my season ticket though so no protest. Not sure how in the grand scheme of supporting City I and many others made a rod for our own backs but you carry on thinking that if it helps you.

We are fickle by nature, some people wear there hearts on their sleeves a little more than others and on occasion it may turn out we were wrong but fuck me, I'd rather be like that than how you come across.

I'm not fickle by nature and I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. People who do that are opening themselves up to abuse and control by others. I researched Mancini like I research all arrivals at City and it was evident he was a lucky Manager with a domestic record that flattered him and a poor record in European competition. I welcomed his departure.

Why drink yourself so stupid that you don't understand what you're singing? There's no need to admit it either because neither myself nor Didsbury Dave nor almost every other poster on Bluemoon would've known unless you'd have told us. Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve.

Keep your cards to your chest a little more. It'll pay off in the long term.
Why? I couldn't give a fuck what you or Dave think of me. After reading this board for a few years I know the kind of posters who I'd be happy to meet and have a beer with and those I'd rather swerve - you would be the latter.
I understood what I was singing and I wasn't in such a state that there was a chance that people would abuse or try and control me. You must be softer than I thought if you worry that's the case.

As I said in my previous post, my joining in was more about backing Mancini rather than any real show of disapproval of Pelligrini. As it stands I'm more than happy with how things have gone since we brought the new man in.
I'll keep my cards to my chest when it comes to important matters/decisions in life, not because someone on the Internet thinks I should.

Pellegrini is very low key, even at Málaga where people adored him he didn't like to draw attention to him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwxZ3sG4TZs ] This happened the week Málaga was eliminated from the CL and his mom died ( a very emotional game btw)
1:59 You can see that his players had to ask him to come back to the pitch so fans can express him their gratitude.

Maybe another reason because there wasn't an official presentation is that song City fans sang the day of the FA cup final about Pellegrini. That story was reported by many southamerican (especially chilean) and spanish (mostly malaga based) media. I watched it on tv, and of course, the Pellegrini out twitter campaign that the guy from the mancini advert started has also been covered by chilean media(not many tbh), so if you consider that his family lives there it makes sense if he is a little apprehensive .

Probably he is not sure what was the reception he was going to get from city fans after that.
Which fucking idiot started a twitter campaign? And which bellends joined it? Probably the adolescent clown who
Tweeted 'I unfollow anyone who wants Mancini out'.

The singing before the cup final was embarrassing and pathetic but pellegrini
Is certainly mature and intelligent enough to know how fickle and blinkered many football fans are.

if he comes on here, he will found out how fickle

the singing wasn't slanderous in any way,it wasn't even aimed at pellegrini,it was backing from the fans for a manager who wasn't getting any support from the club, and highly commendable

I'll say it right now on here, in fact I've already admitted it on here... I couldn't give a monkeys as it doesn't mean anything. I'll sing it again too.

When I heard rumours that MP was coming to City I was excited as my father has been a st holder at Malaga for a decade now and has watched MP a lot.
I've watched his Footy many times whilst he was at Malaga.

I had loads of beer guzzled, no sleep previous night and then obviously the travelling and then beer in the green man.
Then we started doing that song on the roundabout with it being filmed.

Never have I been anti-mp, just a stupid song sung whilst completely plastered... and Rags creating their Agenda with Blues getting embarresed over it.

Kind of get most of that but why will you sing it again ?

Because it doesn't mean anything... just a song we all sang after too much drink and drugs, partying all day before the match.

Actually, I wouldn't be able to sing it again as I don't even know the lyrics now Hahahaha

I think you may soon be receiving a condescendingly written post admonishing you on your bad habits following City - I'd change it to too much orangeade and leave the drink, drugs and partying out....

Your presuming there... I don't do drugs (and rarely drink)
But I'm typing on behalf of everyone in that video who was pissed up, coked up, doing all sorts off camera.

Haven't had a drop off alcohol for months... and Blues who know me on here can vouch for this.

As for drugs... i wouldn't go near them after what happened to my Brother.
