Anyone know how you apply to become a "high profile internet blue?"
It's not something you apply for, but rather grow into, by virtue of almost endless reserves of easy charm and wit.

Fuck that shit.

I'll keep under the radar for a while yet I think.

Christ, just watched that YouTube video. It's fair to say every club has some truly moronic blind lemming supporters.

"I was pissed up and me mates did it so I did too."

So you've never sang a song after someone else had started it?

You lemming, you.

Some **** on here all the time it seems now willing to throw mud in someone elses face over something or other.
This happened months ago, I can't even remember it to be honest.

No wonder the atmosphere in the stadium is becoming shittier by the day with boring twats unwilling to be "lemmings" and have a good sing song.

That song was as embarrassing as the Save our Sven 'protest'. If you can't see the difference between singing songs supporting your club or goading your rivals and that abortion on the YouTube video.................................................. Well I can't help you.

Never asked for your help.

if you feel embarrassed about a crappy video on youtube thats been and gone (one of which you're not even in) then that's more of a reflection of your Ego than anything else.

The 'net moves so quick. big events like the Rigby Soldier murder recently are now long gone for joe public, moving onto something else.
Macaulay Culkin shooting up Heroin? wow yea 2mil. Tweets, loads of pics of Home Alone parody shit etc etc... 24hrs later the whole world is like: Macaulay who?

Gary Speed suidcide... wow yea loads of videos, tweets, facebook viral pics and so on. a week later most of the non footballing public are like: yea Gary, he played for Man United didn't he?

What a weird confused post. You're right about my ego though. It's fucking big. ;)

Well said GDM and, as we both well know, in every sphere of life the cream always rises to the top distributing effortlessly in their ascent an endless stream of pertinent bon mots and intellectually pleasing apercus.

the singing wasn't slanderous in any way,it wasn't even aimed at pellegrini,it was backing from the fans for a manager who wasn't getting any support from the club, and highly commendable
That sounds a bit like calling your dad a c**t and then saying you only did it because you love your mum so much. Your backing of Mancini may or may not have been commendable. The way you chose to express it certainly wasn't.

I'm not fickle by nature and I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. People who do that are opening themselves up to abuse and control by others. I researched Mancini like I research all arrivals at City and it was evident he was a lucky Manager with a domestic record that flattered him and a poor record in European competition. I welcomed his departure.

Why drink yourself so stupid that you don't understand what you're singing? There's no need to admit it either because neither myself nor Didsbury Dave nor almost every other poster on Bluemoon would've known unless you'd have told us. Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve.

Keep your cards to your chest a little more. It'll pay off in the long term.

Why? I couldn't give a fuck what you or Dave think of me. After reading this board for a few years I know the kind of posters who I'd be happy to meet and have a beer with and those I'd rather swerve - you would be the latter.
I understood what I was singing and I wasn't in such a state that there was a chance that people would abuse or try and control me. You must be softer than I thought if you worry that's the case.

As I said in my previous post, my joining in was more about backing Mancini rather than any real show of disapproval of Pelligrini. As it stands I'm more than happy with how things have gone since we brought the new man in.
I'll keep my cards to my chest when it comes to important matters/decisions in life, not because someone on the Internet thinks I should.

Do you really have to go to internet forum meet ups to make friends too? Looks like the drinking buddies you drunkenly sang embarrassing songs with weren't the friends you thought you had...

You claim you don't care what I think but are getting extremely defensive.

Not really sure what point you are making there?

Commendable? 5 minutes before kickoff at the cup final?
I don't think the club helped themselves in the 24 hours prior to the final, but it was bloody embarrassing queuing to get in, and 70% of the queue were joining in with the song. It had been a great day until then (ie whilst not at Wembley), but it went quickly downhill from there, followed by the sit down, stand up arguing crap in the seats, the idiots chucking up in the aisles/over people, the fighting, and eventually the final result.

It really wasn't one of City's finest afternoons, was it ?

The day was summed up nicely when we came out at the end and it absolutely arsed it down.

And took 20 years to get home.
