Did we really get it wrong?

I'm not being negative about the win, Jesus read the post first. We are supposed to be one of the world's top teams so IF we got it wrong it is very poor and needs sorting. Nothing to do with the game, win etc.

Fuck me am so glad to see this post best away win ever and the lads played their hearts to get back in the game . but I do not understand Rodwell over Džeko ?

You are correct,a lot in denial on here though.

Great win though.

30 years ago today we were losing 2-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday and I was not arriving until 30 mins in as preferred the Midland Bar to the shite on the pitch.

How times have changed on the pitch.

Not seen the interview. Did Pellegrini think our 18 goals to Bayern's 17 was the deciding factor and not head-to-head aggregate? Or is he simply being misunderstood?
ITV not shown the interview, but elsewhere I've read that Milner knew a 4th would do it.

If we'd have put another forward on we might have conceded.

Cheers. A 4th would have been nice and the Beast nearly had it but a win at Bayern is bloody great in itself! Even finishing 2nd we get a few handy co-efficient points by virtue of this win.
The Milner comment was being quoted by another blue, but no reason to doubt it. Probably irrelevant anyway.

Looks like 1 from Real Madrid, PSG, Athletico (confirmed), and Barcelona. Possible there could be other clubs if there are some surprises tomorrow.

I suspect that for Pellegrini the win in itself was the most important thing tonight and after 80 minutes when it became a clear possibility he decided to close it down. The whole club has so far not, in my opinion, been ready for the Champions League. That includes the players who have until now been intimidated by the likes of Dortmund, Napoli, Real and Bayern to the point that we have just about escaped humiliation, as well as the fans who fail to fill the ground for CL matches. This result will send a message out to Europe but, more importantly, will resonate throughout the Etihad. It was, in it's way,as important as the 6-1 at the Swamp.

If we went for it and ended up drawing then we would not be on a high going into the arsenal game. As it is we finished second as we were certain we would at the start of the night but are boosted by a win at an almost invincible team.

Why would any blue care less about this shit? If you're going to win the CL, then sooner or later, you have to play the MADrids of this world and beat them.

We will win this competition one day. The rags will cry us a river when that day comes.

I wouldn't bother tonight, you will only keep getting abuse. However we are already getting panned in the media. Thought typical City had gone
