Some mods on this thread - namely Cleavers, LoveCity, PB, and Ducado - talking absolute shite and furthemore suppressing debate from genuine blues which is bang out of order IMO.

I rate Pellegrini. I was beyond overjoyed at the result and performance last night, probably moreso than any result for a year or more. Yet Im aghast at what transpired after the game. It was a shocking oversight that defies belief.

I thought Bluemoon might be a good place to air my grievances at this. Apparently its not the place anymore for such discussions. See ya.
It's what ducado does.

The drama queens have been those who arent bothered by the mix up coming in here and being hysterical at those who were concerned by it. This has been the case right from page one where the OP has been called every name under the sun. Have the posters been warned by the mods? I doubt it seeing as the mods themselves have got in on the act calling us (the ones who cannot believe such a mix-up could occur) rags etc

The way that those who aired surprise or concern at MP's oversight have been shouted down on here has been a joke. Posters (most of them anyway - of course there's going to be the occasional covert rag) have been trying to converse openly and honestly and eruditely and been abused left right and centre. It fucking stinks and the biggest irony of all is that its you guys who have been saying this is a bad example of Bluemoon. Yeah it is. Goodbye open debate. Youre either with us or against us.

I agree. It's been a very weird thread in terms of posters being shot down and called rags, sums, ungrateful, spoilt etc when there is an issue right there in front of their eyes. It was a fuck up, a fuck up that might cost us.

You can see right through this thread though. Those that are usually defending of the club and team regardless of who the manager is have been, well er defending the club. Those that yearn for Mancini have gone mental and those that hated Mancini and love Pellegrini have done all they can to defend him and the mistake.

It's a bit sad really. We should be able to praise/criticise the club when it is necessary, not dependant on who is the manager. If it was Moyes and United that did it there'd be no end to the pissing sides on here and likewise if it was Mancini last season it would be roles reversal in terms of which posters are defending the club and those that aren't. Just say what you see.

Please feel free to report any post that you think breaks the COC

I have no problem whatsoever in discussing the incident, it's a decent topic for discussion what has tended to light the blue touch paper is some of the hysterical reactions, I happen to think most posters are just like me, they support the club and the team no matter who the manage is, I have no particular allegiance to any of our managers they all get my support whilst they manage the club I support, a club that has provided me and many others with countless amounts of joy and pain (not in equal measure)

I guess it also annoys many that after such a brilliant game some posters have gone to town on the issue

Does best!

Reminds me of the Balotelli thread I started. Got threatening PM's LOL

Some people are so one eyed it's embarrassing.

We have just done Bayern away, many blues have never seen such a match so were rightly ecstatic.

Seeing others then put the boot in, many fellas who never seem to post besides to moan is going to provoke a reaction, like it or not that is human nature.

Talk about it yeah, voice displeasure but some of the talk here was inflammatory at best.
Surely you can understand how people would take personal offense at some of this.

All those who Keep moaning about it, what exactly do you want.

A letter of apology
A free season ticket. What?

Nope, they just want to be the centre of attention (some of them).

I also think some City fans have the opinion that to be the niggest Blue, you have to be critical. I have met so many Vlues down the years who act in exactly that manner.

Bletchley Park here - go back a key!!

Let's just accept and agree it was a great performance last night - if we're going to win it we have to play the best. We are better at raising our game for the best sides than being favourites against good but supposed lesser teams anyway!

Oooo Pellegrini
He's our manager
He's crap at maths
He looks like Bert from Soap and he doesn't rate Joe Hart
We're climbing up the league and he doesn't wear a scalf

Haha (ref my typos, not the chant)

I am looking forward to the arrival of my new phone, with bigger screen. Less typos hopefully. :)

Nobody has stopped any discussion. People have different opinions and Ducado is fully entitled to express a view. This discussion is actually going on whilst people are claiming it is being censored, so I just can't see any debate being suppressed .Sorry.

I can mate to a degree. The bit that puzzled me was why it was taken so personally. The outrage. The offense. I think its because my views and others tied in with what the media were also saying so we were buggered by association.

But we're blues too. Its an in-house discussion. Except in this instance we were made to feel pretty damn unwelcome.

A bit OTT I admit but I felt like a traitor somehow. Which is weird because I wasnt slagging MP off nor any individual. Was consistently saying it needed a proper internal enquiry and expressed shock at it happening in the first place.

Others too were being very reasoned in their views yet were being accused of all sorts. Of being spoilt. Of being 'fans'. Or rags.

Boo-hoo right? Haha It just did my head in and Ive kinda threw my toys out of the pram ;)

Well whilst everyone else was ecstatic at the result, I would have taken a draw knowing we'd gone all out to get the goal that would have won us the division. Don't get me wrong, the performance in general was spectacular and it's great that we've won a game away at the best team in the world. But that doesn't mean I'm happy with how the game ended and the mistake that was made. I'm looking at the bigger picture and that is there is a much bigger probability that we will go out in the next round by virtue of playing a tougher opponent.
