Digital Flags?!?

I'll give the club the benefit of the doubt on this until I see the banners. Think of all the cracking stuff people knock up on photoshop that never gets made, this is a chance to see them in the ground even if they are digital. I get that the advance of this corporate shit annoys people but we have to maximise the money we are bringing in with FFP. The club could just have stuck advertising there all game like pretty much every other club would do. This is a good compromise imo and could even end up looking fantastic.

far to rational and considered for this thread m8 people might even see the strength of your argument

The only thing positive I can say from today is that it seemed like they turned the brightness down on the level 2 advertising banners! Might have been due to it being a day time game, but it wasn't nearly as in your face as the Liverpool game. Well done City

I wonder if it causes problems for the keepers when dealing with crosses.

stop it...i know what your going to say.....

The pitchside ads were a pain today when they kept breaking. It was like having a an epileptic fit.

Im missing the banners that used to drape from level 2, and annoyed at the over zealous stewards that are preventing fans now draping them over level 3- i saw one steward today removing a banner that was in place because he deemed it too large despite the fact its been at the ground on numerous occasions for years, without annoyance to anyone. It seems the club and its stewards are determined to rid the place of any individuality and passion other than what is shown on websites and advertising boards by those who may buy a 'Citizen Card' and class themselves as city supporters that have 'been there and done it' if they have been to one match in their lifetime.

Can you imagine the stewards on the Kop removing banners from the fans?

MCFC, YOU NEED TO ALLOW US TO SHOW OUR PASSION IN THE STADIUM ON A MATCH DAY WHEN IT MATTERS.

Well said.

Taking that soul away from the support with ever increasing Rules & Regulations will just result in more supporters with passion for the club eventually turning their backs.

But, maybe this is what they want?

Today for what must've been a 20sec talk with a lad in 111 (discussing the Flags and banners we had handed out for 1894 group)
A steward came charging down and informed us that we weren't allowed to stand on the stairs to talk.

I'm fully aware of the rules, but we needed to discuss something that was completely relevant to improving the atmosphere inside the stadium, and to collect the flags and the Zabaleta banner afterwards.

Mini-Hitlers everywhere and a big contributing factor I feel to a lack of atmosphere is an irritating feeling of being watched by the authorities.

Back on topic, I have emailed the club our supporters club flag, hopefully they'll use it (i somehow doubt it however)
