Here lies the problem.. what does download to Google pay mean? Will everyone know what to do? Will people just leave it until they get to the turnstile. People on the piss turning up with no battery left on their phone at the last minute trying to download. Loads with cracked phone screens.

The download to the Google app was no problem. The issue was getting the gates to read the information. We got through the first screening quite easily but had real problems at the turnstiles. It would not read the information on my iPhone and after half a dozen failed attempts we asked for help. We were directed to another queue that appeared to be snaking across the campus.

No being prepared to do that we went to another turnstile and tried again. I don’t recall it working but after around ten failed attempts, I think someone inside took pity and allowed me through.

The screen on my iPhone was not cracked by the way!

I would love to get rid of the multitude of cards that clog up my wallet. I have already been able to dump one as my Senior Railcard has expired and been replaced with a digital version. By all means move to a digital season card but make sure that the bloody thing works first!
 
so from a technofobe here i have 3 season tickets for me and my 2 grandsons would i be able to download all 3 to apple wallet on one phone

The uefa app and the ability to transfer tickets through it has worked well for me during the Euros. Bluetooth worked, ticket activated easy access at the turnstile. And I hate uefa and wanted it to fail.

But this is City. As with many other things my fear is that it'll be poorly tested, poorly executed and those assisting fans on the day will be learning on the job too, but at every single game.

the last home game against Everton I put my mates ticket on my iPhone ( he's got a Nokia MK1 !) as his had no NFT. He got in OK, then my turn ticket showed as being used, no one would let me in as they insisted - "you've already used your ticket". So I asked if I had how was I outside the ground, that stumped all the staff. A very nice man with a magic card eventually after 15 minutes of arguing let me in, so I have no faith at all that all will be well on the first home game.

If you sign in to her account using her phone, or yours, you click on the ticket you have purchased, tick the box for upload to mobile wallet, and it will automatically appear in your Google Pay app/Wallet.

If she already has a debit or credit card in his Google App/Wallet, it will appear right next to it.
