direct cup and you get first chance of tickets !!!

Not gloating, and I mean that, but, I shouldn't say this, it has back fired on those fans with enough loyalty points that couldn't be bothered(is that the right word?) going to this seasons cup games.

Yes they will eventually get a ticket, but they won't have first pic of the seats.

Funny thing is, this is exactly how united stareted their cup policy.

Some people on here cant see whats right in front of them. Yes their will be a big uptake next season. Followed by the season ticket where you get have no choice but to sign up. You will have other options, but all of those will be .... dont go.

piss take.

for those who's been to every single game, but haven't had the cup scheme due to not always having large amounts of cash in their account, that's why some don't do it. i know loads.

it's a joke, once again i know a few people who are in this scheme, but sold the tickets cause they had the points and wasn't arsed.

i know so many who may miss out with this now, my mate is currently in the process of phoning them up and asking them what the fuck their playing at.

my mate has 2,100 points, never missed a home cup game in any competition.

the bloke on the phone agreed with him, said someone will get a ticket before him cause they signed up and it's wrong.

he's been told to ring supporter services on monday.

even some of own ticket office know it's a joke.

Not strictly true that though is it...I 'bothered' to go to all the cup games but did not join the scheme...I'll get a ticket but I'll have less choice and I saw as many games as Schemer's. In hindsight I should've joined the scheme but I did not know then I would be more 'loyal' by doing so...I went to all the games anyway and accrued Loyalty points but I am 'less' loyal according to this system. Shit Happens!

if your mate has 2100 points, he's hardly the most committed, my daughter has only just turned 5 virtually has that amount.

he will get a ticket, whats the problem.

Not very happy about this. I have 6070 points, i have been to all the Europa (home) and F.A. cup Home & away) games but im not in the cup ticket scheme as i dont feel i have to justify my loyalty to a club i have supported since 1968. And yet someone with 4,000 points can now get a ticket at the same time as me...... Sure i will get a ticket, what about the fans with say 5,990 points who are not in the cup scheme who perhaps missed the couple of cup games that would have given them the required 6000 points........ THIS STINKS!

Its not true at all.....

itr backfired on all the regulars who didnt miss a game, but failed to sign up to the cup scheme.

what conclusion are you left with.....

all those that didnt bother where right, the club wont look after the mugs who decided to go to crap games against no mark teams.

So in the future why should i make the effort of changing my plans, finding the cash to go.

since i have exactly the same chance on my SC as the ones who stayed away. Id like to see the argument against that.

Didn't mean it like that.

(If you've attended all the cup games I would have a word with the ticket office. What you've done is no different to somebody being in the cup scheme)

More so those fans that have the loyalty points and assumed they would get a ticket first, regrdless of attending this seasons cup games.

I mostly agree with that. I do however have a few more points from attending those games and so will get to queue up a day earlier than I would've.

-- Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:13 pm --

Attending all the cup games is not being in the scheme though is it...I can't see them buying that tbh.
