What haPpens next year if 20,000 join the cup scheme will they be able to buy on the 1st day again going backwards if you ask me having 20,000 people queuing for tickets out I. The cold overnight again

That's exactly what the club would want. Put it this way: we won't ever have another 20,000 spare seats at one of our cup games. Fair play to the ones who went last night as well.

Don't know why anyone is bothered by this. There is only a small percentage of people on the scheme, and I bet nearly everyone of those would have enough loyalty points for a ticket anyway.

what if you only bought you SC this season, then you wouldnt.

Personally I would have done something along the lines of:

ST with 6000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 6000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 6000 +
ST with 5000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 5000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 5000 +
ST with 4000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 4000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 4000 +
ST + Cup Scheme (irrelevant of points)
CityCard holder with 6000 + Attended 80% cup games
CityCard holder with 6000
ST with 3500 +
CityCard holder with 5000
ST with 3000 +
CityCard holder with 4000
ST with 2500 +

etc...

Or something like that, the system would need lots of planning, but you kind of get the idea of rewarding people who have been to all cup games even if their not on cup scheme, and then people who have been to a fair few cup games. And also not just letting anyone on the cup scheme immediately buy, but have the cup scheme reward work alongside the points system.

Oh and BTW, i'm NOT in the cup scheme.

bollox im afraid, been toevery round home and away. also having my SC for years, why can someone who bought for the first time this season, get priority ???

Why bother next season, may as well do like the rest and not bother until wembley.

not like the club differentiate between those who go, and those who stay at home, is it ?

Why should a season card holder have priority over an access card holder with more points ? The answer is because he pays up front.

Why should a season card holder in the cup scheme have priority over a season card holder with more points ? See above for the answer.

This year you could choose which cup scheme you went in. So if you read it the club are rewarding those that chose to attend/sign up to the FA cup scheme. At the point of signing up YOU chose which cup competions to attend.
You have to have season ticket to sign up so like most have said, I think all season card holders who want a ticket SHOULD get 1.

I have 5000+ points and im on the cup direct scheme. So again i have quite a few points like some of the others on the cup direct scheme.

My dad however has 4400 points and is not on the cup direct scheme but has been to every cup game with me. Asked him to sign up but forgot i think.

This means i will have to wait until Tuesday 29th March so we can sit together.

Can understand the club wanting to reward people for attending the cup games and also think they've done this to boost attendances in the cups next year. Cant say i really agree through!!

Think everyone with 2000 points should get one in the end.

Just my opinion really.

Absolute joke
I am not on cup scheme yet have been to every home cup game and the 2 away fa cup games wheres my reward
and before anyone says you should have been on cup scheme if i went to every game .Did it last year and the club took money out of account when i didnt really have it so go charged for going into overdraft so this year opted out of it
once again little thought has gone into something by city

Well that would be a valid point if you did pay upfront with the Cup scheme.

but you pay for tickets when they go on sale, as have i to every game ?

where is the difference, with a SC you pay £500+ every summer up front.

You need to read the details again, you and your dad can buy tickets together on your points levels straight away.
