I have 5000+ points and im on the cup direct scheme. So again i have quite a few points like some of the others on the cup direct scheme.

My dad however has 4400 points and is not on the cup direct scheme but has been to every cup game with me. Asked him to sign up but forgot i think.

This means i will have to wait until Tuesday 29th March so we can sit together.

Can understand the club wanting to reward people for attending the cup games and also think they've done this to boost attendances in the cups next year. Cant say i really agree through!!

Think everyone with 2000 points should get one in the end.

Just my opinion really.

Every seasoncard holder will get one if they want one.

Looks fair enough how they're doing it.

And I'm someone who probably won't get a ticket despite missing just one cup/Europa home game this season. We all know the rules and as has been said, there will be very few people on the cup scheme who wouldn't have been able to get a ticket otherwise.

bollox im afraid, been toevery round home and away. also having my SC for years, why can someone who bought for the first time this season, get priority ???

Why bother next season, may as well do like the rest and not bother until wembley.

not like the club differentiate between those who go, and those who stay at home, is it ?

Why should a season card holder have priority over an access card holder with more points ? The answer is because he pays up front.

Why should a season card holder in the cup scheme have priority over a season card holder with more points ? See above for the answer
.

Well said. Thread killing post.

Get in. That gets me top of the list....

Any season ticket holder will get one though. But us "loyal" ;-) fans on the cup scheme can pick the best

This x 1000. Fans who pay up front for the season, without knowing how many games it's actually going to be, deserve it, then ST's then City cards then the rest.

Since when did you "pay" upfront on the Cup Scheme? All you do is say you'd like a home cup ticket (and will attend if you're not working, away etc). You don't hand over any cash at the start of the season do you.....or has it changed?

I'm sorry of any of my outbursts earlier offended anyone (SWP's back). Simply frustration at realizing just how hard it gonna be to get a ticket (I've got 2,750 points which should be enough, but my dads only got just over 2,500, and it'll be tough for him).

Basically if he isn't going, neither am I (we've always gone to games together, and I'm not changing that now).

Well that would be a valid point if you did pay upfront with the Cup scheme.

but you pay for tickets when they go on sale, as have i to every game ?

where is the difference, with a SC you pay £500+ every summer up front.

Ok then change pay up front for agreeing to pay regardless of wether you can attend or not. It's still a commitment.

Wonder if someone in the know could clarify this. If you're in the cup scheme do you still qualify to buy a ticket for a season ticket holder who doesn't have the requisite loyalty points on the first day?

I thought that once you were on the cup scheme you were committed to paying, regardless of being able to make games. So though the cash isn't actually transferred before the season it is guaranteed.

I was a season card holder for 11 years approx '96 - '07 but due to work commitments I had to give it up, I have over 3000 points on my Citycard yet look likely to miss out to possible first year season ticket holders. I know you can't please all the people all the time but I do feel a little harshly done by. Will just have to hope not all season card holders want to attend and there's some left over for us mere mortals.

Not read through all the posts sp don’t know if it’s been mentioned (apologies if it has)
It seems like as they are allowing people with 3000 points get them in a group if 50 % of that group has the required points say 3 people have 5000 then they can get 3 more for people with 3000 points so they can sit together... also done the same for juniors ) means they have done a quick tally up and know that they have enough tickets for every one with 3000 points or more.
Kinda makes sense.
