"Disappointing" attendances

Do you know what's really funny? Blues having to justify the costs.

Nobody has mentioned most have a mortgage, rent, food, bills, kids.

I heard some bollocks from someone on Newcastle fan TV today claiming they have always been a bigger club than City and would sell out 70k a week.

They only play 40 games a season as it stands in a one-team town!
They used to get 10 or 12k at home before Keegan came in the mid 80s. Joke club.

Can not understand why the criticism for attendances isn't aimed at those running football rather than the fans themselves. Ridiculous kick-off times on any day but the traditional one of Saturday, along with matches being televised and what would any one expect but that attendances will suffer.

The Clubs have chased TV revenue and basically would not care if they played in empty stadiums, we the match going fans are incidental to anything else when it comes to forward planning.

and were 8000 below capacity for every home game this season until they gave loads of season tickets away
I remember 1989 - towards the last game of the season Newcastle expecting their lowest ever crowd of under 8000 - I was in the area so fancied going along so I could say I was there. Tons more had the same idea - but still only 14000 turned up. 70,000 my arse

So did Mancini. You think Pep would bother taking out a newspaper ad to thank us and say goodbye if it came to it ?

I would hope he didn't give any newspaper the revenue!

My ire is for Soriano. He's the worst kind of executive. Bloated, aloof and seeing our talented kids as nothing more than dispensable.

Thinks he's clever than he is, which is probably why our lawyers are having to work around the clock to stop us being sanctioned from pillar to post.

When Pep's next pre-match interview?

Who will be the first Jurno c*** to ask him about his comments about the fans?

We all know it's coming.

I have a vision of Pep being equally comfortable sipping one of those frothy coffee things in Islington, £15 croissant, discussing Engels with his flat cap on and £500 DSquared jeans.

Sounds like a pleasant morning to be honest. There are nicer places up here than Islington though!

I presume you are referring to old baconface? He got away with treating the media like shit for years. Didn’t he ban the BBC and get fined every time, with club picking up the tab?

I'm willing to be corrected, but if memory serves Ferguson should've been fined, but the BBC never pressed the issue, opting instead for "dialogue" to solve the problem.

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let them eat cake. That's where we have arrived at.

Khaldoon needs to fucking wake up, because these people think they are untouchable.

What actually do you want them to do.

Clearly producing a fabulous team winning trophies galore is not it.

Wow just wow

Pep take note, Andy Morrison fighting our corner.

“But Andy Morrison, a former player and now club ambassador, told Love Sport Breakfast: "I think if you look at the amount of games that City play, they have another midweek game coming up.”

"Games come thick and fast and these cup games fall outside of the season ticket, people aren’t rolling in money, people have to look at the games they can make.

If only he could manage ;)
