Firefighters offered 2%, ha ha they are taking the piss, expect us to be going out the doors
I hadn't realised until yesterday that the government has the final say on any pay deal on the railways. It is in the rail franchise agreement. So this government are actively involved in keeping this strike going.
Is that because Tories have been lying to you?I hadn't realised until yesterday that the government has the final say on any pay deal on the railways. It is in the rail franchise agreement. So this government are actively involved in keeping this strike going.
Do they have a say in exec bonuses and share dividends too, or are they perhaps content to leave these to 'market forces'?I hadn't realised until yesterday that the government has the final say on any pay deal on the railways. Offered NHS staff similar which was taken and taxed back, last year.
The Gov have no shame in exacting guilt in the right situations and forcing acceptance when it's, patently, unacceptable.
The TV media has a lot to answer for, in this regard, media like GMB who, actively, shame NHS for asking for more with the conditions they're under. Much more than when they grill ministers about giving pay rises, same as they do with the RMT strikes.
