A simple point is being lost in all this profound discussion. Such apparent thoroughness being an indifferent substitute for logic.BurningHart said:George Hannah said:Football at this level being what it is this decision could result in Joe losing his England place for good as well as his automatic first team spot for us - a high price for a few mistakes . Ask Casillas. Could be equally costly for Manuel when the reckoning comes.
Costly for manuel? Yeah, it will cost Manuel to lose his job if he does nowt about it and cost us the title.
Casillas being dropped by mourinho was more political than on form besides Diego Lopez is doing a fine job and deserves to continue.

The best keeper in England is being replaced by one who has never played a league game for us or anyone else, wants to be in Italy and has been dropped by mighty Romania in favour of a 36 year old Serie A reserve who also hasn't played a competitive match.
