You cannot blame the manager for the result today.
Tactics were bang on against Chelsea.
Individual errors from supposedly experienced top players let him and us down.

Felt sorry for pelegrini today, thought he got his tactics spot on,he must be tearing his hair out with all these fcuk ups costing us points,in fact the howlers at villa and today show that typical city is back with a vengeance....

I note your comments with interest as what I posted is the minimum requirement set by our old friend billy shears.
Anything less according to billy and Pellegrini would be a 'failure'.

I'm just wondering if Billy has got his hat ready to eat.
Did he not say "We will 100% definitely win the league"

Anyway enough about Mr Shears as it is not good for my health talking about him.

Everyone said give the guy ten games at least,so we are now 9 in.How many points did we have last year after 9 games???
Facts are facts.Mancini is a better manager than Pellegrini.
So we get to the last 16 of CL-Then what, get our arses spanked over 2 legs.

Your right facts are facts and the fact is that Pellegrini is now our manager. So why don't you try and get behind him rather than using every possible stick to beat him with??

Who isn't behind him? Just because I am not fawning over this so called hollistic bollocks then I am not behind him? Get a grip.
One win in 5 aways is enough of a stick to have a go at him in my opinion.

And you need to wake up and smell the coffee...

Not at fault today but as the manager, will be held responsible regardless.

His starting game plan and formation was spot on. Showed some adaptability which was nice to see.

I think his half time team talk must've been very good. Looked much sharper in the 2nd half today but for 1 catastrophic lapse.

Didn't deserve the result that will at the end of the day rest on and burden his shoulders.

Who do you blame though when poor defending as a team and individual errors start becoming a pattern rather than a one-off?

Most new managers would be in hot water with an away form like this, but Pellers will ride the wave because in nearly all those matches, he was dealt with extreme mitigating circumstances.

If it was due to us playing shite, I think he'd be gone by now if we wanted to be ruthless.

Mark Hughes could answer that question...

So was it Pellegrini's fault Joe took leave of his senses today or Clichy gave Torres a head start in the race to the byline?
The manager's only fault was in picking those players. Supposedly excellent experienced individuals.
He can't be blamed for their below par performances although to some it us clear the Joe has been well below his best for a while.
Players let him down today.
