I've just had a thought. I bet all those posters who currently think we'll struggle to get into the top 4 are the same Blues who left Wembley with 10 minutes to go ... who walked away from the QPR game in disgust 10 minutes from the end.

The two most defining moments in our modern history weren't witnessed by Blues who had given up the ghost. You'd think some of you would've learned from those experiences.

I bet some of those posters actually go to the games and don't watch them on TV every week either...

Careful mate-that is borderline banning territory.:-)

I actually find it really funny now that people are still kidding themselves that were are having a better season and that Pellegrini has turned "he who shall not be named" into dust!! 6 away games-1,yes 1 fucking victory!!
Forgive me but did we have to be at the qpr game on 95 minutes to be allowed an opinion on Pellegrini?Or at Wembley in 99 at 2-0 down?
I'd just like to add that I was there till the end so that must mean I am allowed to comment.
If people keep trying to disregard what he who shall not be named did then his fan boys (me included) will keep coming on defending him. Let the vitriole continue because his trophy count overides any mud that gets slung about him by certain posters.Until Pellegrini proves otherwise and from what I have seen isn't going to happen then he will never be a patch on he who shall not be named
We can comment on Pellegrini because he is the current manager-a manager who is way out of his depth in this league.A manager who is simply a yes man to the Spanish pair of baffoons, a manager who will - in my opinion - win absolutely nothing with City, and a manager who looks fucking haunted by the task he has taken on.
Would I like him to be sacked? No not at all because I think he deserves longer to prove my opinion otherwise however something tells me the WBA and Southampton games will tell me if he has learnt about tactics, formation going into tricky away games.

I remain hopeful that things will be fine against Spurs but another 1100 plus match day thread will mean only one thing and should that be the case you won't have to be too smart to figure on what the gang that say yes we have a better squad than last year will say to support why that should mean a better set of results.

Will it be the no Kompany no SIlva , no City brigade or will it be as Marvin recently said we lost at Sunderland because we didn't have Hart in goal (LOL).

Plus the following:-

1. The performances didn't warrant a defeat!
2. With No Silva or VK what do people expect
3. Our away performances are showing an upword curve
4. Just one of those days
5. 25 shots on target..Opposition were lucky with their one shot on goal which
happened to win the game.
6. It doesn't matter because we are in the last 16 of the CL and this is all that
matters.
7. He is only keeping the seat warm for Guardiola.
8. The 100 million spent was only to replace Tevez and Mario
9. We will definitely win the league!!!!
10.Blame the players,not the manager.
11. Even if we don't get top 4 he will still be here next year
12. The outers just want him to fail.

The excuses just keep coming.
I could go on but will just get shouted down.

Yep they have all been used in the first eleven games but hopefully they won't be come Sunday evening.

I do get the distinct impression that some of you would now like to see us go on a spectacular loosing streak just so you can be proven right, same shit as last year just a different manager it's quite sad that it has come to this

Not in my Ducado , I want us to win the title by a record margain this year.

Won't happen but I want to see it and to use your words I would like it to happen.

No City supporter unless they have some weird agenda wants to see us in anything but the highest position.

Whether it happens or not depends on the players and to lesser extent the manager.

If we fall short of our targets its stating the bleeding obvious the manager has to account for the shortfall.

I don't care who the manager is to be quite honest as long as we win enough games to win the title thats more than fine with me.

If that cant happen then top three , if not then fourth , if not that then fifth etc.

Currently we are shambles if not a disgrace away from home cannot sugar coat it in any way so lets hope that changes for the better but all games for us especially away will be tough and if we keep on keeping on we may easily be faced with the proposition of no chumps league next season unless we win it this season , funnier or similar things have happened in the past.

Aye
Pay for your season card take to your seat and pray like fuck the other team wins
So you can rush back to an Internet forum and wind up some emptyheads who you've never met,and say I told you so

Deary me.

Be careful NQ, there's some on here would have you believe he turned water into wine with Villareal

Personally I think his ability to turn Mancini into dust at City was far more impressive than anything he did at Villareal ... ;)

Seriously though ... you should have a little more faith. Pellegrini's a top manager who is going to be very successful with City. His achievements at Villareal and Malaga are spectacular. It's why he's such a widely respected coach by not just pundits, but players and other managers within football.

I will remind of this post on the 2nd of Jan.

Delusion beyond belief.

On a side note when are you coming over next sweet cheeks.

SHB the irony of being lectured about being at Wembley in '99 or the QPR game from someone who very rarely attends any City game is nothing short of spectacular! I genuinely laughed out loud when I read it. Talk about arrogant, self opinionated, know it alls...
