Don't always agree with his decisions but the Fernando sub was absolutely the right thing to do. It's only half time with a home leg still to come, and we were chasing the game as if it was a one legged tie. We looked more Linley to concede on the break than score. 2-1 is better than 3-1.

Segio looked over at the bench and shrugged his shoulders. It was a clear gesture of "what the f... is going on" On a more positive note I thought his movement off the ball was excellent tonight..though he got no service and there were signs he has recovered properly from his injury.

Yes his movement was better & he looks as if he's going to kick on at some point soon, but I wish him & Silva would make a bit more effort to stop the defenders getting passes away.

Pellers you are losing it.! - whatever IT is. Team has been playing crap - as a team for ages. With one or two moments of brilliance now and again. Such as Watford.
There is no leader on the pitch.
I am afraid Demi has gone past his sell by date.The first 10 mins. of the second half he didn't know he was on a football pitch. Otto had a very good first half - with probably one mistake.
Tonight Aguero did show his touch is coming back. Big Willy did not do anything wrong , Sagna was reliable. Fernandhino tried doing the work of 2 men.
Navas - for all his critics - did well and scored. Is it the tactics that is wrong. Sooner we get to summer we shall all be put out of our misery. Will he come ?.

Feels like we have too many "star" players that he wants to shoehorn into one team even if it's leaving us unbalanced in defence & unbalanced in attack. Sooner or later we'll have to accept that playing Yaya, Silva, KdB, Aguero all in one team just isn't doing it. Especially when you play 3 of them out of position (Yaya isn't a CAM, Silva isn't a winger, KdB isn't a winger) like today.

Like I mentioned on another page, our win rate with Navas starting is 82%, our win rate without him starting is 42%. He's not a better player than any mentioned, but he IS a winger & playing the correct players in the correct position has fared us so much better than these horrible attempts of fitting everyone into the team regardless if it means they're all in unfavourable positions.

Back to basics, drop one of Silva/KdB, play the other in the centre & stick Navas/Sterling out wide. Worked pretty well for the first 5 or so games.

This is the most frustrating part, he isn't sticking to his so called principles at all. He should have been putting on Sterling, Navas and Kelechi tonight. Delph shouldn't be played at LW, stupid decision, exactly the same at Arsenal.

I'm not surprised .... we were like this last season, but fans didnt want to see it because he had done the Double. Now, with a new man coming in possibty, fans are happy to see him go.

He didnt rectify it last season, to his credit he did something at the season but now thats failed, he doesnt know what to do and cant see him fixing it now.
