Never a good idea to come on here after a day and a night on the piss. Manuel got away with one yesterday, as did the team, but I think in future I will be far away from the keyboard while on the demon juice. Sorry Manuel, and sorry for poisoning people's eyes

I thought he made a big mistake picking Nacho ahead of Sterling, because a game against a team defending like that was crying out for De Bruyne in the hole running the game, instead of wasted on the flank. He put it right a bit too late, it it transformed us when he eventually did it on about 55 mins. Taking de Bruyne off at only 1-0 looked a risk, and it almost backfired when we needed to chase the game again though that freak goal.

But it was a pleasing 3 points, showing another dimension to the team which we have really developed his season- late winners. Now that is a trait of champions. I still think we will win it comfortably.
If Sterling had a hammy tweak then we have to take that into consideration.

KDB helps, and Kolarov too, but last season we were awful at corners. Now we can't stop scoring from corners.

Must have been a lot of work put into set pieces on the training ground

Hahaha..... just read back on your post, and fair play, you weren't a happy chappy. Mind you, I've seen worse on the Matchday Forum, and the Transfer Forum for that matter.

Taking De Bruyne off was OK at that time as the goal had opened the game up.

I wish Pellegrini would play Sterling down the middle from behind Bony. His game is running at defenders, and it's compromised a bit from playing on the touchline. He's our best dribbler. Even Sterling's critics must accept that his only dribbling peer in the English game is Hazard yet Pellegrini has him stuck on the left touchline. That's a mistake. Get him on the ball more and in a position where he can go both ways because when he is in the ball, things happen.

I'm not convinced he is being allowed to play his natural game. At Liverpool he would try things and they often didn't come off but he was exciting to watch. I think he isn't being encouraged to take risks for us but to become more involved in the possession based game. He seems scared to try anything now so not sure if this is being coached out of him a bit.

Navas plays right out wide because he stretches the game and being out there takes the full back wide and creates space for the other forwards. maybe that's the idea with Sterling out wide left but I'd like to see him play centrally just to get him on the ball more. When he gets it in the final third things happen.

When Silva and Nasri are out and you have a packed defence you want Sterling on the ball and it's easier to stop him if he's stuck on the touchline.

I suppose the problem is that he's at City now. A better team who have players in midfield and he has to fit into a team. A bit like De Bruyne who for me is so much better in the middle than down the wing, but every player can't always play in their best position.

He had more freedom at Liverpool, but he'll win stuff at City and his game will improve

Got lucky MP,and am beginning to worry or shall I say quite concerned about his ability to continue with us,as said he/we got away with one yesterday, but the most obvious thing to me at 3.01 pm was that Kelechi would be hooked off at some point, absolute farce considering that donkey at the side of him was slashing at everything,it's becoming so predictable.

Don't get me wrong Sterling should have been on bench due to recent performances,we can all see that, and it was the right time to introduce him yesterday, but for the kid ? I don't think so

If you ever watch him during a game,I can sat level 2 in Colin Bell, you can see his mannerisms on the touch line, and you know what I think he would be a great basketball coach, cause all he does is waves his hands forward to every player, attack attack mentality all the time.

His days are numbered am afraid, and the Pep rumours are strong again this morning again I see
