Manuel's been hitting the Just For Men bottle?

It'll take one tight away match he doesn't start for you all to start begging for him back in the starting XI.

We lack penetration without him in the side. It's really as simple as that.

It's amazing how this forum knee jerks after every match.

Hasn't yaya got like 4 assists already?

Pmsl how people are saying he won't start in our best 11. Surely they're just taking the piss?

The more I see of Pellegrini, the more I feel we should keep him as long as he wants to do the job. You cant put a price on being a good man and having the team wanting to play for you. Added to which, he has done a good job as coach over the 2+ years. No point changing coach unnecessarily.

I fully agree with this. Pellers runs a steady ship. There might be more ‘exciting’ managers in football but with Pellers its what you don’t get that counts, you rarely if ever hear rumbles of dissent or trouble at the camp, no fighting on the training ground or players angling to leave etc. I love Bobby Manc for what he did for us but it was a fractious group he brought together and it unravelled towards the end, you see the same with Mou at Chavs, great when winning games but there is an underlying element of unrest. I think we could do a lot worse than Pellers – a LOT worse.

Spot on and totally agree with lasereyes too. We have a good manager.

For me, with everyone fit, I wouldn't select Yaya. What I lose in his positive contribution, I make up through his now more frequent failings, but that is my opinion. Time to move on.

Who will you replace him with? Someone who most of the people on here were slagging him off last season or someone who was fighting for relegation last season?

Can't believe I'm actually having this debate...

Good management to reward Iheanacho with a start after his midweek exploits, and nice to see his pragmatic streak again when he brought on both Fernando and Demichelis to see the game out. Also good to see us scoring from another set piece; that makes it 6 in the league so far this season (I think), halfway to our league total for the whole of last season.

Don't know if anyone noticed after Norwich scored but Manuel was telling everyone to slow down and gesturing with his hands. Clueless idiot when we needed a sense of urgency. Glad nobody listened to him.

Taking off Kelechi instead of Bony, what a master stroke. Hqsnt a clue.

Nicely said - you look at all the drama with Mourinho and then thank the lord that MP always keeps it in the dressing room. The media are left trying to create their own imaginary stories like Kompany and Pellegrini.
